Seasonably chilly; some showers for some parts of Virginia Thursday

Some parts of Virginia could see snow showers on Thursday.

We will see a mix of clouds and sun the rest of the afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight with lows in the 20s.

Skies will be variably cloudy on Thursday. Some snow showers will be possible near Interstate 81. Highs will stay in the 40s.

A storm system will increase the clouds on Friday. Some showers will arrive by late evening and overnight. Rain will be likely early Saturday morning, tapering to just the chance of a few scattered showers during the day. Highs will be in the 40s. A few wet flakes will be possible, mostly northwest of Richmond.

Dry weather is expected Sunday through Tuesday. We will see a big warming trend with highs well into the 60s Monday and Tuesday. Our next system will bring rain next Wednesday.
