RICHMOND, Va. -- Police have released the name of the woman found shot to death on Richmond's Southside Saturday night.

Officers were called to the 3300 block of Stockton Street for a "report of a person down" just before 8:50 p.m.

When officers arrived, police said they found Sara Andrews, described as a woman in her twenties, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Andrews was pronounced at the scene, according to police.

Officials said the Medical Examiner will determine her cause and manner of death.

No suspect information nor additional details were available at last check.
