Police ID woman killed in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police have released the name of a woman killed early Wednesday morning in Richmond.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of North 25th Street, near Venable Street, at about 2:45 a.m. when neighbors heard gunshots.

Police found Rosalind P. Gibson unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
