RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are asking for information from the public as they investigate an aggravated assault that occurred three weeks ago.
Around 5:45 p.m. on Friday, May 8, officers responded to the 1400 block of Minefee Street for the report of an assault.
Once on scene, they found a 53-year-old male with a life-threatening head injury and determined that he was assaulted with a firearm. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he is still recovering at this time.
Detectives believe the victim was attacked by three male suspects, but have limited details on their descriptions.
