CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police are searching for two men who assaulted a pharmacist and stole drugs from a Walgreens in Chesterfield County early Tuesday morning.
Police say the men entered the Walgreens at 6851 Temie Lee Parkway at about 2:30 a.m.
That when police say one man jumped the counter, displayed a firearm, assaulted the pharmacist, and demanded narcotics.
The second man demanded money from the safe, according to police.
After receiving drugs and cash, police say the men fled the pharmacy on foot. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspects are described as Black males, one tall and one short.
Police say the taller suspect was wearing all black clothing and the shorter suspect was wearing black clothing with a gray hoodie underneath his black jacket.
