RICHMOND, Va. -- A man is fighting for his life after a shooting in Richmond on Thursday evening.
Around 7:15 p.m., Richmond Police responded to the 1600 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike for a shooting.
Once on scene police found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital for a life-threatening injury. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000
