CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police are investigating after a man accidentally shot and killed himself in Chesterfield County on Tuesday.
Around 6:30 p.m. police responded to the 8300 block of Hull Street Road for report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigators believe the victim accidentally shot himself while handling a firearm.
