Police identify man found shot to death on steps of South Richmond home

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police have identified a man who was found shot to death on the steps of a Southside home Saturday morning as Allen Frazier, a male in his fifties.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of Concord Avenue for a report of a "person down" just before 10:45 a.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located Frazier unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound, on the steps of a residence. He was pronounced at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
