CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Chesterfield Police have launched a death investigation after a man and woman were found dead inside their residence Monday.
At about 8:40 p.m., officers responded to check the welfare of a man and woman inside their home in the 10000 block of E. Alberta Court.
"Upon arrival, the home was found to be secured. Once inside, the officers found a man and woman both deceased. There is no evidence of foul play at this time," said a police spokesperson.
The bodies have been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for cause and manner of death.
Police continue their investigation.
