No injuries reported in Richmond house fire

RICHMOND, Va. -- Investigators are working to find out what sparked a house fire on Richmond’s Southside Sunday night.

Fire crews were dispatched to a home on Cherokee Road around 8:25 p.m. for reports of smoke coming from the roof.

Firefighters said everyone was outside when they arrived and that no one was injured.

The blaze was marked under conrtrol around 9:25 p.m. , according to fire officials.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
