PETERSBURG, Va. -- A death investigation is underway after police found a man a shot to death in a car at a Petersburg gas station Sunday afternoon, according to Crime Insider sources.
The shooting happened at the Marathon gas station in the 1900 block of Boydtonplank Road, Petersburg Police posted on Twitter at 1:40 p.m.
Crime Insider sources said the man was a passenger in the car.
Police have not yet provided a suspect description.
