CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police are investigating after a man was stabbed and killed in Chesterfield County.
"On Monday, August 17, police responded to the 3300 block of Main Street for a report of a male victim lying in a yard," a Chesterfield Police spokesperson wrote in an email. "He was pronounced deceased at the scene."
Police identified the deceased as 30-year-old Antwan M. Bowers, of Petersburg.
Police have initially classified the death as suspicious and indicated Bowers' official cause of death would be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
