CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police are investigating a fatal crash after a car hit a tree head on in Chesterfield County Monday morning.
Police say the single-vehicle crash occurred near the intersection of Hicks Road and Foxberry Drive at about 9 a.m.
A 2010 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling north on Hicks Road when it crossed the road's center line and struck a tree head on, according to police.
The driver, identified as an adult man, was transported to the hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Police continue their investigation into this crash.
