PETERSBURG, Va. -- A man was arrested Sunday for allegedly shooting out a window at a Petersburg hotel early Friday morning.
Officers were called to the 25 S. Crater Road after shots were fired just after 6:05 a.m., according to Petersburg Police.
"Officers arrived on scene and discovered a window to a room had been shot up," police said. "Video was recovered of the incident which showed a suspect and suspect vehicle."
Police arrested 48-year-old James Wyatt Jr. of Petersburg without incident Sunday afternoon.
Wyatt was charged with recklessly handling of a firearm, brandishing a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and maliciously discharge a firearm into a dwelling.
Police said he is being held without bond pending a court appearance.
