Missing 88-year-old Powhatan man found safe

Mr. Clarence Gee has been found safe at the VA Hospital in Richmond. Thank you to everyone who helped bring attention and ultimately located Mr. Gee.

POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. -- Deputies are asking for the public's help in locating an 88-year-old man who disappeared Friday evening in Powhatan County.

According to Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office, 88 year-old Clarence Gee walked away from his home in the 4000 block of Bell Road.

A witness spotted Gee walking eastbound near the intersection of Anderson Highway and Bell Road at 6:40 p.m., according to investigators.

Deputies said Gee may have been picked up by a vehicle a short time after that.

Gee is described as black male who was last seen wearing a dark colored suit, gold shirt and carrying a suitcase.

The 88-year-old previously disappeared in July, but was found by CBS 6 reporter Jon Burkett.
