GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. -- School leaders in Goochland have approved a back-to-school plan that will allow parents to choose either in-person or online school beginning on August 24.

It allows for half of the county's students to attend class in-person four days a week.

Any students who choose in-person instruction will have to undergo required health screenings, stay six feet apart in classrooms and wear face coverings in the building and on buses.

Bus schedules are also being adjusted.

Elementary school students will go to class at 8:35 while middle and high school students will start at 8:15.

The bus will only allow one student to each seat.
