RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are investigating after a girl was killed on Jahnke Road in South Richmond Sunday afternoon.
"At approximately 5:23 p.m. on October 18, 2020, officers responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Jahnke Road and German School Road," a Richmond Police spokesperson wrote in an email. "A GMC Yukon traveling west on Jahnke Road attempted to make a left turn, when it collided with a Nissan Titan traveling east on Jahnke Road. That caused the Nissan Titan to spin through the intersection and strike a female juvenile pedestrian. She was pronounced at the scene."
Additional details about the crash have not yet been released.
