"Current subscribers can renew their subscriptions starting Wednesday, July 8, 2020," a Broadway in Richmond spokesperson said. "New subscriptions will go on sale later this fall with the exact date to be announced soon and individual show tickets will be announced as each performance approaches."
Performances at Altria Theater were halted in March when COVID-19 led to rules against large gatherings of people.
Under current Phase 3 COVID-19 guidelines, theater occupancy cannot exceed the lesser of 50% of the lowest occupancy load on the certificate of occupancy, if applicable, or 1000 patrons. Additionally, 10 feet of physical distance must be maintained between all performers, participants, and patrons who are not members of the same household.
