CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- At least one person was killed in a shooting police are calling an “isolated incident” at an Ettrick apartment complex Saturday night.
Officers were called to the 4000 block of Hickory Road near the University Apartments at Ettrick for a report of shots fired around 8 p.m.
Multiple Crime Insider sources said a male victim died at the scene, but police have not yet released specifics about the victim.
“Right now we are looking for a suspect, but we do not have much information to put out at this point because it just occured,” Lt. Mike Breden with Chesterfield Police said. “We don't feel like the public is in any type of dangers because this is an isolated incident.”
Police said that it appears that no one else was injured in the shooting.
Officers said their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
