RICHMOND, Va. -- The family of an infant who was killed in October said they have no idea why someone would want to harm him and are pleading for anyone with answers to come forward.
Terrell Glover was charged with malicious wounding in connection with the death of 4-month-old Tyvon Lambert.
The infant had blunt force trauma and marks on his neck consistent to bite wounds, according to Crime Insider sources.
Those same sources said the little boy did not live at the house. His mother and Glover would often hang out, but he was not the child's father, according to those sources.
Tyvon's aunt said her family just wants to know what happened inside that house.
“That's a 4-month-old baby that could not defend himself at the hands of an adult,” she said Saturday. “I don't know the reason, don't know who they were mad at. Maybe they felt like there was a situation where they couldn't handle whoever they were mad at and wanted to take it out on my nephew, but it's not right.”
Police said their investigation into the case is active.
Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call Major Crimes Detective J. Mills at 804-646-6734 or Crime Stoppers at 804780-1000. The P3 Tips Crime Stoppers app for smartphones also may be used. All Crime Stoppers reporting methods are anonymous.
