CHESTERFIELD, Va. -- Several lanes will be closed on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield Thursday night and Friday morning due to emergency utility repairs.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 22, the left and center lanes of I-95 north will be closed between W. Hundred Road/Route 10 (mile marker 61) and Route 288 (mile marker 62).
The closures will facilitate emergency gas line repairs on the Coxendale Road overpass.
VDOT is encouraging drivers to use Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1/301) north as an alternate route to avoid delays.
Work is expected to be complete by 6 a.m. Friday, October 23.
