CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash reported near the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and Willis Road, according to Chesterfield Police.
“At this point, the investigation indicates that a Honda Civic was traveling north on Jefferson Davis Highway when it struck a Ford E-250 van that was turning left from southbound Jefferson Davis Highway onto Willis Road,” a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said about the crash which was reported at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. “One passenger from the Honda was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.”
Police said the road would likely be closed for up to three hours while officers investigated the crash.
