Update on 9/3/2020: Janieliz Sanchez has returned home and is safe, according to police.
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Chesterfield Police are searching for a runaway teen who was last seen on Monday, June 15.
Janieliz M. Sanchez was last seen before she went to bed at her home in the 12700 block of Ellenbrook Place.
Police say the 16-year-old was gone when her mother went to check on her the following morning.
Janieliz is described as a Hispanic female, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
