HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- An investigation is underway after a fire damaged a Henrico home.
Everyone inside the house on Point Hollow Drive, near Douglas Wilder Middle School, made it out safely.

"Henrico Fire units arrived to find heavy fire coming from the front and side of the home," Henrico Fire spokesperson Henry Rosenbaum wrote in an email. "Firefighters used handlines and an aerial platform to control the fire initially."
Firefighters were called to the house, off Wilkinson Road, at about 1:30 a.m.
