HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Germaine Anthony Barlow, 40, of Henrico, was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife, 37-year-old Tiffany Michelle Yellardy, according to Henrico Police and Crime Insider sources.

Barlow, according to sources, called 911, admitted to the murder, and waited for police to arrive.Yellardy, a mother of two, was discovered by her children.
"Her daughter and she are tight,” the domestic violence victim's sister told Jon Burkett. “And for her son and for my niece to have to come home and find her like that, my sister didn't deserve this."

Police responded to the 1000 block of W. Nine Mile Road, near Longstreet Avenue, at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
