Police ID woman fatally struck by vehicle while doing yard work

KING GEORGE COUNTY, Va. – State Police has identified the King George County woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle while doing yard work Wednesday afternoon.

Suzanne R. Marshall, 73, was killed when a 2003 Infiniti G35, traveling east on Kings Highway, ran off the road and struck her in her yard. The accident occurred 1/10 mile west of Bloomsbury Road.

Marshall died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured. He was wearing a seatbelt.

No charges have been filed at this time.

The State Police Crash Reconstruction Team is assisting with the crash which remains under investigation.
