RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Police released video of two men wanted for robbing the Shockoe Valley Market not once, but twice in one week.

“Two suspects walked into the convenience store, located at 311 N. 18th St., brandished a knife and robbed a store employee of cash and cigarettes,” Richmond Police said about the July 20 and July 26 robberies.

Security cameras recorded the crimes.

During one of the robberies, the robber told the clerk to “open the register” and then ordered him to hurry up.

“C’mon. Chop chop,” he said.

Both times, the men ran out of the store and up North 18th Street. No one was hurt in either robbery.

Police described the suspects as black males, each approximately six feet tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds.

They wore hooded sweatshirts and masks.

Anyone with information was asked to call First Precinct Detective Gaetano Drago at 804-646-3395 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
