YORKTOWN, Va. — Investigators are working to determine how a man whose body was found in York County died. The man’s body was found at about midnight along Crawford Road.
“A passerby reported what they believed to be a body on the side of the road. Deputies and medics located the body of a white male near the Tour Road overpass. The victim was pronounced dead on scene,” a sheriff’s office spokesman posted on Facebook. “This is a homicide investigation and investigators are actively pursuing leads at this time. The cause of death is undetermined and pending autopsy results.”

More information was to be released once the man’s family was notified.
