Man wearing black trench coat tries to rob Burger King in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a fast-food restaurant in Chesterfield County Sunday night.

It happened at the Burger King located at 20867 Woodpecker Road at 8:53 p.m.

“Police said the suspect entered the restaurant, approached an employee and produced a note demanding money,” Lt. J.G. Stocks with Chesterfield police said in a news release. “The suspect fled the scene on foot without receiving any money.”

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a male with a thin build and about 5 feet 5 inches tall. He was wearing a black trench coat and had a white mask.
