HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Henrico Fire crews were called to fight a boat fire in the James River Tuesday morning. Crews responded to the river, about half a mile from Deep Bottom Park, at about 10:45 a.m., according to Henrico Fire spokesman Capt. Danny Rosenbaum.

A man on the boat saw smoke coming from the front of the vessel and turned the boat around to bring it back to the dock. No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
