HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police are searching for the two people caught on camera breaking into a Sandston area gun shop, and stealing guns Thursday morning. Surveillance video shows the two suspects inside of Cross Tactical Supply, located at 375 E Williamsburg Rd.

Co-Owner Michael Lester said the thieves probably thought they got away with real weapons, but that’s not the case. They stole Airsoft A-47 rifles.

Lester said the suspects broke into his business by kicking in the back door. In the video you can see one of the suspect using a cell phone in the store presumably to get light inside the dark shop.

“In the video you can watch them notice the alarm went off and then they immediately turned around and left,” said Lester.

The men are described as two young white males wearing hoodies and skinny jeans along with "skater shoes." Lester said they left their footprints in the shop as well. On surveillance it also showed they had t-shirts over their faces to try and mask them.

Lester said one of the men was also wearing a distinctive backpack. “It’s not just your average high school book bag, it’s something that has a little bit more detail to it.”

Anyone with any information about this robbery are asked to please contact Henrico Police at 804-501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
