PETERSBURG, Va. — A Petersburg High School student has been arrested after a firearm was discovered in his possession on at the high school.
Corey Taylor, 18, is facing a charge of possessing a firearm on school grounds.
Police say on Tuesday December 8, around 1:30 p.m., a school resource officer arrested Taylor after the discovery. They say a tip led to the discovery of the gun that was not on Taylor, but in his possession.
The student is being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond.
