Richmond Police looking for gunman after shooting leaves one wounded

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond police are on the hunt for a gunman after a shooting in the city's Northside.

Officers found a wounded man in the 2200 block of North Avenue near the intersection of Miller Avenue and Wickham Street sometime after midnight.

Paramedics took the victim, described as a white male in his early 20's, to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have not announced any arrests.
