PETERSBURG, Va. -- A benefit Wednesday will raise money for the family of a motorcyclist who was killed on I-95 in Colonial Heights last week.
Katoria D. Spellman, 25, of Petersburg was riding on I-95 south last Thursday night when she was hit by a sedan that had run off the road.
Spellman was taken to VCU Medical Center, where she died.
Weather is considered to be a factor in the crash, and the driver of the car was charged with reckless driving.
Today's benefit is taking place at “TraditionZ” on South Crater Road in Petersburg at 7 p.m.
