CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Chesterfield police said the work-release inmate who went missing after walking off the job two weeks ago has been found dead.
The medical examiner confirmed the body found in a wooded area near the Clover Hill Sports Complex on Genito Road Wednesday was that of Stephen Andrew Martin.
There has been no word yet on how Martin died.
Chesterfield police said they are working the incident as a death investigation.
