BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. — A 79-year-old Brunswick County man with Alzheimer’s who had been missing since Saturday morning was found uninjured Sunday. Francis Cleaton was found in the woods less than a mile from his family’s home around 2:30 p.m., according to Brunswick County Sheriff Brian Roberts.
Deputies had been searching the area since his family reported him missing around 10:30 Saturday morning.
“He was alert and doing well,” Roberts said. “He is currently being transported to local hospital for observation.”
“He has been found!” the Dolphin Volunteer Fire Department posted on their Facebook page along with photos of Cleaton being transported from the forest.
