The woman who Matthew allegedly attacked in September 2005 took the stand on Monday. She provided graphic detail of the sexual assault that prosecutors said nearly killed her.
When testimony resumes at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Commonwealth is expected to call law enforcement and medical witnesses to the stand.
