Hour-by-hour look at Tuesday’s storm forecast

RICHMOND, Va. -- A cold front will continue to move southeast Tuesday morning and will be draped over Central Virginia a little north of the Richmond metro area. The front will slow down considerably during the day, serving as a focus for numerous storms Tuesday afternoon. Highs will range from the upper 60s in northern Virginia, to the upper 80s in far southeastern Virginia.

Rain chances will remain high into Wednesday as the front continues to move slowly southward. Thursday and Friday will feature seasonal temperatures and a chance for showers and thunderstorms each afternoon.
