HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police confirmed a homicide investigation was underway in eastern Henrico after a male victim was found shot in the chest Thursday night. Police responded to the shooting along the 5200 block of Art Avenue, off Darbytown Road, at about 9 p.m. Thursday. Officers and a mobile command unit were seen on the cul-de-sac into the evening.
Police have not yet released information about a motive for the shooting, nor information about a suspect. This is a developing story.
