HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Two men were arrested and charged in connection to an armed robbery at a West Broad Street business. While the men were charged for the single February 4 robbery along the 6000 block of West Broad Street, near Crestwood Avenue, police said “there will be additional charges pending relating to other incidents which occurred on February 4, 2015 and February 2, 2015.” Police released several photos of one suspect entering the West Broad Street store with a gun. The crime happened at about 9:30 p.m.
Earlier that same February 4 night, police said the same suspect robbed the Quick & Easy convenience store in the 10000 block of Three Chopt Road, near Pemberton Road. That crime happened at about 6:30 p.m. Photos from that crime did not show the suspect’s face.
Crediting tips from the public, police arrested Berkley Cleaves Wade, 51, of Somoa Drive in Henrico, on Friday. Wade is charged with one count of robbery and one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Police also arrested Tracy Jerome Crisp, 50, of Bumpass. He was charged with possession of cocaine relating to the robbery, police said.
