CHARLES CITY COUNTY, Va. — An 18-year-old Charles City County man and three teenagers were charged with assault by mob after a Saturday morning fight at a home on Haupts Lane, according to Charles City County investigators.
“Upon speaking to the victim he advised deputies that while he was at a home on Haupts Lane four individuals known to him allegedly grabbed him and carried him outside the residence and proceeded to assault him,” investigators said. “The victim suffered minor injuries sustained from the attack.”
Matthew Chandler Colon-Montgomery, 18, of Haupts Lane was charged with one count of felony assault by mob. He was booked in Riverside Regional Jail on a $1500 secured bond. Police did not release the names of the juveniles charged in the incident.
