RICHMOND, Va. -- A staff member suffered a heart attack during one of two fights that broke out at John Marshall High School in Richmond Wednesday afternoon.

Additionally, three other staff members, who were trying to break up the altercation, were taken to the hospital.

One student was arrested in connection with the incident, which involved six or seven male students.

Police have not said if that brawl was related an earlier scuffle that officers said started around 2:11 p.m., and involved a Petersburg City juvenile male and two John Marshall female students.

A Petersburg juvenile, who was originally at the school to visit a female student, was arrested and taken to the juvenile detention center.

There has been no word yet on the condition of the staff member who suffered the heart attack.
