HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Henrico Police need the public's help to solve a murder in the county's East End.

"On Friday, January 16, 2014, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Henrico Police responded to a shooting in the 3700 block of Howard Road. Officers located an adult male victim, in a parking lot between Bolling and Howard Roads, suffering from gunshot wounds who was pronounced at the scene. The motive is unknown and detectives are continuing their investigation," Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said.

The shooting victim was later identified as 26-year-old Antoine Dabney of Bolling Road in Henrico. Dabney died in the parking lot, just feet from where he lived.

Friends laid teddy bears at the sight of the killing in honor of the man they called “Eggroll.”

"He definitely loved his son it’s just unbelievable,” said Jamonica Harrell. “He don't bother nobody. It’s crazy for this man to by lying on the ground like that."

Dabney left behind a 5-year-old child.
