MIDDLESEX COUNTY, Va. — A teen accused of bringing this cache of weapons to a Middlesex High School is set to appear in court Monday.
Austin Martin, 18, will either be appointed an attorney or choose to retain his own legal representation.
Police arrested the teen after investigators found four loaded guns, knives and more than 600 rounds of ammunition inside his SUV parked outside the school Friday, according to Middlesex County Sheriff’s investigators.
Martin, who was suspended from school, was charged with felony possessing firearms on school property.
Investigators said they found no indication that Martin planned to harm anyone, but would not elaborate on why Martin said he had guns in the SUV.
