CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Jesse Matthew’s December 1 court date for a traffic violation has been continued to March, according to court documents. Matthew was scheduled to appear in Albemarle County Court next month for a traffic violation and a preliminary hearing in the Hannah Graham case.
Matthew’s Dec. 4 hearing in the Graham case is still scheduled to take place on that day.
Matthew is charged with abduction with the intent to defile in the Graham case. Recently the Medical Examiner ruled Hannah Graham’s cause of the death to be homicide.
Earlier this month Matthew pleaded not guilty to felony counts of attempted capital murder, rape and sexual assault tied to a 2005 attack in Fairfax, Virginia. Judge David Shell set a March 9 trial date for Matthew for the Fairfax case.
This is a developing story.
