RICHMOND, Va. — Police said a 15-year-old boy was killed in a triple shooting in one of Richmond’s notorious public housing neighborhoods early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened in Mosby Court along the 1400 block of Coalter Street around 1:25 a.m. Sunday.
Police were called out for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Zyemontae Redd, of the 4300 block of Hill Brook Avenue in Henrico, died at the scene.
The two other victims were taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
