PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. -- One person was killed and another person was hurt when their car ran off the road and landed in a cemetery pond.

Police continue to investigate what caused the car to run off Birdsong Road in Prince George early Friday morning. The vehicle landed in a retention pond at Southlawn Memorial Park after 2 a.m.
Police have not yet released the names of the people involved in the crash.
