HENRICO COUNTY, Va.- One person was killed with their truck drove into a drainage ditch and overturned on Monument Avenue, according to Henrico Police.
"Preliminary investigation has found the lone vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic before striking a drainage ditch and overturning," Henrico Police Lt. spokesman Lt. Mulé said. "The lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced at the scene. No further information to release at this time pending next of kin notification."
The accident happen about 12 p.m. near the intersection of Monument Avenue and Bremo Road near St. Mary's Hospital. The accident close some travel lanes in the area.
