RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond Police identified the man shot and killed outside an apartment complex Thursday morning as Andre T. Rhone, 26, of Greenmoss Drive.
The shooting happened at The Crossings at Bramblewood, off Jahnke Road, shortly after 3 a.m. When officers arrived, they said they found Rhone in the parking lot. He died on scene.
"Richmond Police detectives are in the early stages of a homicide investigation that occurred on the city’s Southside this morning," Richmond Police spokesman Gene Lepley wrote in an email. "Detectives are asking anyone with any information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000."
Police have not yet released information about a motive or shooting suspect.
