RICHMOND, Va. -- Most of today will be sunny and pleasant, with a high in the mid 70s. Cloud cover will increase this afternoon ahead of a cold front that will move through the area late tonight. A few showers will be possible between sunset and sunrise Friday, with gradually decreasing clouds during the day Friday.
The weekend will be dry and cool, with lows in the 40s and highs in the upper 60s Saturday and near 70 on Sunday. A storm system could bring a few showers to the area on Monday, followed by dry weather for the remainder of the week.
A disturbance in the Caribbean has a medium chance of tropical cyclone development over the next several days.
